Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th 1967, is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was a television star as the character Dr. Anna Del Amico, a medical drama that aired from 1997 to 1998. Bello was also the character Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016, and also as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS in which she was as the lead agent. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher, and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Her field of study was in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by participating in several New York theater productions after she graduated. Bello along with Dan McDermott is the proud mother of Jackson. In November 2013, Bello wrote about her first-partner Clare Munn's sexual relationship. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we assign to Others (Dey Street Books - April 28, 2015).
