Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a comedian, actress, and writer. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first made her appearance as an actress in 1974 as in The Second City, an improv comedy group in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy acting and writing abilities which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was part of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
