Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she began working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. The 11th of February, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She was named Communications Director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end of 2015.
